Greetings from the Sea-to-Sky! I hope you and your families are all well. The market remained hot throughout April in Whistler.
- There was $96,400,650 worth of real estate transactions in Whistler in April 2022 vs $107,213,061 in April 2021. A slight decrease of 10%.
- The median sale price is at $1,552,500 so far in 2022. This is an increase of 21% from 2021!
- TD's posted interest rate's today were 4.41% on a 5-year fixed mortgage.
- Median sale price is up 21% through the first 4 months of 2022!
- There were 152 active listings on the market in April 2022 vs 192 active listings in April 2021 and 343 active listings in April 2020! That's a decrease in listing inventory of 56% in 2 years!
- The median Days to Sell a property in April 2022 was only 11 days! This is on-par with the 12 days required in April 2021. It will be interesting to see if the May sales volume pick-up's though the remaining 2.5 weeks of the month.
